Requirements
What You’ll Do:
As a veterinarian at Oronoque Animal Hospital, you’ll do more than diagnose and treat—you’ll become a trusted partner to our clients and a valued member of a collaborative, forward-thinking team. Your responsibilities will include:
*Delivering compassionate, high-quality medical care while prioritizing the comfort and emotional well-being of your patients.
*Performing thorough physical exams, diagnostics, medical treatments, and routine surgical procedures, with appropriate referrals when necessary.
*Educating pet owners with clear, empathetic communication—explaining exam findings, discussing treatment options, and guiding them through their pet’s care.
*Maintaining accurate medical, surgical, and controlled drug records, ensuring compliance with hospital protocols and legal standards.
*Collaborating with colleagues on ongoing case management and patient follow-ups, fostering a seamless continuum of care.
*Staying sharp and current: you’ll be encouraged and supported in meeting your continuing education goals (30 hours of accredited CE per year).
*Contributing to the growth of our outstanding paraprofessional team, empowering them to deliver top-tier support and client service.
*Representing Oronoque with pride in both the professional veterinary community and the public sphere.
